EXCLUSIVE: Boat Chase, Gunfire & Stunts On The U.N.C.L.E. Set

Solo makes a jump for it on the latest set of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

It's been anything but a quiet week, on the latest set of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. 

With production expected to wrap in about a month or so, this week the cast and crew have been filming some big action scenes involving Henry and Armie. This is part of the filming notice neighbors received ahead of the shoot. 

marliimarl_ has been checking out some of the U.N.C.L.E. sets, and has exclusively shared her photos with us (she shot the latest pics of Henry). Now she's back with more! 

marliimarl_: The congregation of security/divers/rescue/stuntmen/camera operators/actors etc.. ahead of the boat scene. Solo will sit on the boat and then there's a stunt with gunfire. You can see the extras with guns in the window above.

marliimarl_: This is the set to the left of the image above. They have built something in the bottom left hand corner made out of wood. I believe this is part of the set.

marliimarl_: Setting up for the scene. I think Henry is kneeling behind those white things to the left of the boat.

marliimarl_: Boat on the water! (and more blurry Solo).

marliimarl_: Here the two guys to the right are setting up a ‘pad’ for the stunt guy to jump onto, when he pretend jumps onto the boat.

marliimarl_: Henry on land, stuntman on boat?

marliimarl_: The clapperboards come out. There's one by the boat and see the guy up in the window with the extras? They are ready to shoot!

marliimarl_: you can see how they have cleared the set of people.

marliimarl_: They are given the all clear!

marliimarl_: And all hell breaks loose! Guns go off! I think this is a stunt double I don’t think it’s Henry. They did this in ONE take! (Us: we think it IS Henry!).  

marliimarl_: Guns still blazing! See extras still aiming at boat.

marliimarl_: Scene over. This is the camera boat that was out of view earlier.

marliimarl_: Crew setting up a scene with a truck.

marliimarl_: More truck scene set up. Cameras were on the water.

marliimarl_: There were fireworks last night, 5th of November, Guy Fawkes day in the UK. This was the view from the set, like if we turned around and looked away from the set. Canary Wharf and the spiky thing on the left corner is the O2, a huge arena where most concerts are held. A bit of random information for you there.. and this is where I left - blimmin’ cold!
