Henry Cavill Nominated For Critics' Choice Award

UPDATE (1/16): Mark Wahlberg takes home the award, congrats to him. We are still very proud of Henry for his nomination. Go Man of Steel!

 We're celebrating big time at Henry Cavill News, after hearing that Henry has been nominated for 'Best Actor in an Action Movie' for his work in Man of Steel.



Per Variety:

The nominations are given out by the BFCA, which began in 1995 and includes about 300 reviewers from TV, radio and online in the U.S. and Canada. Additional news for omen-seeking kudos watchers: Oscar’s eventually best-pic winner was in sync with the Broadcast Critics’ selection in seven of the last 10 years.

The 19th annual rite will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and telecast on the CW network, starting at 5 p.m. PST and airing live on the east coast. Aisha Tyler will host the show, produced by Bob Bain Prods. and Berlin Entertainment.

Everyone ready to watch Henry shine on that carpet on January 16th? we know we are! -- Congratulations Henry, for a well-deserved nod for your hard work and dedication in Man of Steel. We can't wait to see what you bring to the role in the sequel.

    Didn't he accompany Gina Carano in 2013 to the Critics Choice when she was nominated for an award? Wonder who he will bring next year??? :) BTW, he should win!

      Wouldn't it be cool if they got back together and they attended this yet again only now it being reversed, he nominated this time, and she supporting him in his nomination!?

      He should bring his mother as his date like he did at the count of monte cristo premiere. I thought that was so cute!

      yep, move on Henry! I feel the same when he was with Ellen, Gina is not for him. Hope he finds the right woman for him ♥ (I mean... me! lol)

    I'm glad that it's the Critics' Choice. It's got a lot of cred. And Henry truly deserves to be recognized as an actor.
