Man of Steel artist Jay Oliva, has shared two really cool storyboards on twitter. Couple them with the scenes that ended up in the film and you have movie magic!
Wanted to share some of the storyboards I did for the "Man of Steel" film since I'm in a Superman mood #manofsteel pic.twitter.com/YQYUzkrgXx
The process of course is much more complicated than that, and Jay talked about it last year during his interview with Voices from Krypton. Give it a read.
Hello handsome! guess who's making a cameo appearance in a new Infinite Crisis clip highlighting his maddened-self? - just can't get over our crush for Superman, nightmare or not..
Last year was ALL about Superman and this year it's Batman's year to shine. As part of the celebration, Warner Brothers has released the official 75th anniversary logo and shared details of some of the events to come. Check out all the details in the LA Times. Just a few weeks ago, we brought you the news that the Batmobile is finished. It's nice to see the two superhero worlds slowly coming together, in time for the release of Batman vs. Superman on May 6, 2016.
I love Batman...but I really really REALLY love Superman...cause I love Henry. <3 <3 <3 :)
ReplyDeleteBen has looked very hot in several photos of him taken recently. Younger looking - wonder if he has had work done to prep for the film? He and Henry look the same age though Ben is a decade older. Besides Batman vs Superman it'll be Ben vs Henry to see who wins the hearts of the female moviegoers. Can't wait for the internet polls on that one.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I thought the same thing. Nothing wrong with having plastic surgery. He's always been a heartthrob and the film will have him seen by more women than any of his other films. At 42 all of us can use a nip and tuck. By Hollywood standards he's had a long 10 year marriage and has 3 or 4 kids with Jennifer Garner. Great family man by all accounts.
ReplyDeleteBen is very good looking. Like Henry, he looks very handsome in a beard as well. Not that it matters, but he may or may not have had any "work" done. I know someone who is almost the same age as him who has never had anything done, no plastic surgery and looks 22-25. Sometimes it's just genetics. I don't know what age "Lois" is supposed to be, but Amy looks young too and is perfect as Lois. In acting, age doesn't necessarily matter--it's more about conditioning, energy, inner/out strength and looking good/right for the part. Some actually get better in all categories over time. And some are seemingly timeless (like R. Downey Jr. and J.Depp, etc.). I'm glad Henry is playing Superman now instead of when he first auditioned for it years ago because he was good looking then and a fine actor, but he is more The Man now with more experience...so he comes in stronger and just keeps getting better with time/experience (which often make a man sexier too). I think Ben will do an outstanding job as Batman. He's a terrific actor and will understand this role better now at this point in his life than he would have in the past...relating with all of Batman's life challenges/experiences. I really like Christian Bale as Batman, but I think Ben will be great too. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a friend who was lucky enough to meet Ben. He is incredibly gracious and engaging in person. Above that he is very talented. Some people still doubt him in this film, but I think he will blow us away as Batman and steal every scene he is in. Snyder is supposedly shaking things up in the film. One thing I want to see is Lois and Bruce Wayne flirting. Can you imagine scenes with 5 time Oscar nominated Amy Adams and Ben. Hope rumors that Bruce and Lois will have a thing going are true.
ReplyDeleteIf that rumor turns out to be true, I'll demand my money back.
DeleteWell Diana (WW) is supposed to have eyes for Wayne after meeting him so maybe Affleck/Adams/Gadot scenes! Makings of a love triangle.
ReplyDeleteBen will be awesome!! As good if not better than Bale and Bale was very good.
ReplyDeletePoor Henry Cavill. He has gone from being the lead to the after-thought. He did a solid job in Man of Steel and was left with a good introduction to future sequels. To ignore the opportunity to flesh out the character of Kent/Superman and the world he is in just feels a bit like a half-baked idea, especially as when you add Batman into the mix, it all becomes about Batman.
ReplyDeleteDavid Snyder has already stated MOS II will focus on Superman and how humans respond to him after the destruction of Metropolis. In this case, it makes sense to have Batman and Lex Luthor in the sequel. In comics, Batman has always been wary of beings with powers. I recommend you research DC's Tower of Babel graphic novel, so you can get an idea of how far Batman's paranoia is. Lex Luthor always been envious of the hero worshipping Superman receives. It is kind of funny, but before the reboot, DC had a storyline about a cult that worship Superman as a god.
DeleteThere won't be a triangle guys. The film is crowded and, as it is, there will be little room for character development. What room there is will be devoted to Batman and WW as they're being introduced. But heck yeah, I would die for some Adams/Affleck scenes.
