When we decided to start this blog, one of our biggest fears was covering filming for you guys. We've done it before with different actors and studios, and we've learned you walk a fine line in trying to bring fans the latest while respecting the work of those involved in the filming process. If you followed our Man from U.N.C.L.E. coverage, you're hopefully familiar with what we're talking about. When news hits official outlets, or it's just fun rumors or Easter egg speculation we're ALL over it. To us, that only builds up the excitement of what's to come. But when it comes to leaks like in Batman v Superman.. ugh, murky waters ahead.
It's one thing to cover and open set after media outlets have reported on it, or there's pictures hitting the web. It's a whole other can of worms to share information that's clearly not meant for public consumption, likely happening on a closed set. So if you don't see us talking about a specific news item that's all over the net, know we have the best interest at heart for you guys and the cast and crew (we also don't want to get sued). Batman v Superman is going to be a great film and we are just trying to be responsible with our reporting. Hope you understand.
Moving on, the latest rumor that was quickly debunked by Gossip Cop, was that Emily Blunt was in talks to play Catwoman in Batman v Superman. Read the rest.
This week various Spanish sites are reporting that the Man of Steel sequel will open in Spain on April 29th, 2016. That's a week before the U.S. release. The sites reporting it say the word came straight from the studio reps there. More dates as we get them.

And for those fans worried that Superman is getting the shaft in his sequel, as well as in the planned big screen DC universe (and we've heard from plenty of you) -- Mark Hughes over at Forbes tells you why he thinks that's not the case. Yes it's just his opinion, but he does bring up some good points. So let's all just relax and.. you know the rest ;)
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Thank you for the updates, HCN. (y) :) <3

I think that's all fair and an ethical approach towards Henry's projects and professional affiliations. Between the posts on the blogs, Flickr, and Pinterest posts, I feel I get good coverage and don't need to know every single step of the filming process. Knowing all the details would be like opening a present before Christmas. Keen up the good work HCN!
