Some of that filming took place at the old Wayne County Courthouse in downtown Detroit.

In the film Superman has a new slicked back hairstyle, so guess now we know how they keep Henry's curly hair in check. Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter, Jesse Eisenberg, and Scoot McNairy were also spotted as they walked back and forth from that downtown Detroit set.
Oh, hey Zack!
And who is this politician? anyone? we're told he was definitely a VIP, with a police escort and bodyguard both days he was there. UPDATE: Mystery solved. That's U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont. Thanks Ari Fantis (rprez2012). More from DCU Movie Page (knew we could count on you, thanks guys!)
@HenryCavillNews This Senator, he is a huge Batman fan https://t.co/Wovd5JJmpG he made cameos in TDKR, TDK, Batman TAS and Batman and Robin.

In case anyone still has doubts, that's appears to be a U.S. Capitol logo on the extra playing security that day. So Superman is definitely making a trip to Washington, but why? we'd like to hear your thoughts.
And don't think we're done with the exclusives from that set just yet.

Where can one even start?? ... Go Henry!! ... and Holly Hunter, ha,ha. Thanks HCN. (Thinking already WHY that trip :-) )
ReplyDeleteLong time reader first time poster. Love all that you guys do to keep us henry addicts satisfied. Couple things: 1. What's up with Jesse's handkerchief do? LOL. Either they're covering his Luthor hair to avoid spoilers or he's just weird like that.
ReplyDelete2. I really prefer MOS hair on HC. He looked so hot, as always and on here is no exception but the hairline is distracting. Why can't they style it exactly like when he went to SDCC?PERFECT!
Thanks for the pics HCN!
What if senator patrick leahy will be our version of stan lee
ReplyDeleteWhat are those clips in Henry's hair lol?
ReplyDeleteHe has curly hair, they need to hold it down somehow! -- guessing it also takes an extreme amount of heavy duty hairspray.
DeleteI'm glad they did this instead of cutting those sexy curls. Clark can sport the curls and a different hairstyle helps the disguise.
DeleteOh, no! We knew his perfection was too good to be true!! Henry is really a CYBORG!!! (Thus the "portals" into his brain...Hairclips??? Ya, right.)
DeleteSuperCav-El in Washington... (y) :D
ReplyDeleteI love the hair clips in Henry's hair...Sexy. I would like to Comb. His. Hair. <3
All these pics with Henry, Zack, Amy, Jesse, Holly, Tao, Patrick and Everyone are very interesting, etc. Thanks for sharing R. Chiang, Ari & HCN. (y) :) <3
And Scoot too...with his Alien lime green socks. :)
DeleteLooking at that hairline, they may need a new guy to play superman in the Justice League movie :(
ReplyDeleteoh for crying out loud. there is nothing wrong with his hairline. stop posting this on every thread. it's getting old.
DeleteRight. Everything is just fine!
DeleteWomen wear hair pieces, wigs, weaves, etc. why couldn't the same be done for him if necessary in upcoming films? I don't give a rat's a$$ if his hair is getting thin; it's not as if there aren't hot bald men in Hollywood. Plus that is no reason to feel sorry for someone, he's a freaking sweetheart, has a supportive family, and works hard to manifest the life he wants. That's inspirational. Thinning hair? For God's sake, out of all the infinite bad things that could happen to any of us human beings, that is not the worst for a man.
DeleteWell any good villain always plots to take over the world and it would make sense they'd aim to control a place where major decisions get made such as the White House. Maybe the kryptonite to keep Superman in check is buried deep in the Pentagon? I'm sure we've all watched several action or superhero movies with similar plots, but hopefully this film will have something completely new and original.
ReplyDeleteSupes takes Louis Lane on a date (he flies her there, of course) at the Smithsonian (isn't Henry a history buff?) and not even 10 minutes pass before he's gotta go save the day.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the rest of the postings of this week?
ReplyDeleteI love that they're keeping us updated, I just hate the fact that the movie isn't coming out for almost 2 years!
ReplyDeleteI like the last few pictures of Henry, walking down the stairs from the makeup trailer. Obviously the crew member in the Teamsters shirt wanted to meet him and shake his hand, so Henry goes over and says hi. Henry's a class act!
ReplyDeleteI agree...and I would like to Shake Henry's Hand too...in the Makeup Trailer...if you know what I mean... ;) :D
ReplyDeleteSenator Leahy was the guest at Harvey Dent's fundraiser who told the Joker: "We're not intimidated by thugs!" And based on the genuine rough manner in which Heath Ledger snatched his head after that, I don't think Heath realized he was a U.S. Senator, and not just a character actor.
ReplyDeleteOn cameos, goddamnit, Adam West needs to be DC's Stan Lee! I'm tired of Stan Lee this, and Stan Lee that. Adam West has 1,000% the coolness factor of Stan Lee, he was the original, swingin' 60's Batman, and as legend has it, along with Robin (Burt Ward) was getting more tail than a public toilet seat. (off AND on the set)
When it comes to easter eggs & cameos, it's time for Warner Bros/DC to pull out THE big gun on Marvel: Adam West. (You're goddamned right) Adam. Fucking. West.
Check out that bum! I don't know ANYBODY else whose bum looks that amazing in jogging pants.
