The Hollywood Costume Exhibition begins tomorrow in L.A., and People Magazine got a preview. The best part (of course), came when costume designer Deborah Landis explained just how much of the Man of Steel suit on display is really Henry. While we know the answer..
let's just say her response left the magazine's reporter speechless. WATCH at about 1:30.
The LA Times did a piece on the exhibit that you can read on their site, and here's THE MAN himself, as shared on The Academy's Instagram account.
More on the exhibition at Deadline and Variety. Earlier this year we had a chance to talk to costume designer Michael Wilkinson about Henry's super suit, and how it's been working with him. Don't miss our interview. And as far as we can tell, the new suit looks even better!
The Hollywood Costume Exhibition runs through March 2.
Damn...SuperCav-El's Body deserves an Award/Oscar... along with the Suit... :< <3 <3 <3
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update, Michael, Everyone & HCN! (y) :) <3
Agreed! Henry's perfect physique is no "smoke and mirrors." Plus the character was so likeable. My heart melts for Supes (in so many ways) whenever I've watched MOS.
ReplyDeleteThe costume designer did a great job of showing off Henry's physique, with the new technologies that they have, they were really able to show off all his contours and cuts to a great extent.
ReplyDeleteLove the new BvS suit as well, it is showing even more intense muscle definition making Henry look insanely badass.
I mean, obviously, they 'painted' core contours on the suit (can see in the ALS photo) but, yeah, wow. Those thighs, that chest - all him huh?
