  6. Love the insight to his cardio routine:) but I kinda was waiting for them to play a game? I thought they were supposed to play the shots game or something? I was left a bit flat on that:(
But Henry was stunning as usual and that makes up for everything<3

I've contacted Cosmopolitan about getting you the right edition. I'll keep you posted. They don't make it easy for us outside the US. It's Goodwood all over again.

  7. I was definitely a little down they didn't do something fun. And I'll be honest a guy who talks about integrity so much, a little surprised he doesn't roll that in with the fact he's a relationship guy and not much of a dater, by alluding to the fact he gets his cardio from....well....you know. That doesn't fall in line with his comments on integrity and relationships. But hey, to each their own and I still look forward to the film!!

    1. Completely agree. Also didn't like an interview when he said his bravest moment was breaking up with a girl he loved because he thought it was the right thing to do, though he knew it would hurt her. Surely that's really private and her business too. Doesn't scream integrity.

      Delete
    2. Agreed! That would be so awful. Everyone breaks up, that's not brave, it's life. and to splash that info out there is odd.

    3. Henry is human he has sex! That has nothing to do with integrity. He still has integrity. You forget that he still is a man. And he is not in a relationship so he can do cardio with whoever he wants with as many he wants it doesn't change who he is. Chill out!

    4. I'll have to disagree a bit. It is brave to break it off. I've been strung along...for a long, long time only to be told the person no longer wanted to be in the relationship and hadn't for a long, long time. I was so angry! What a coward to do that to me. I'd put my career on hold to be able to be with this person. They knew that. They knew it was important to me and had been for a long, long time. Yet, they chose, instead, to completely string me along for whatever selfish reasons. Knowing one's relationship isn't going to work out and knowing the heart-break the break-up will bring, but facing it anyways and doing it with a kindness...that is brave. I've been on the cowardly side of how it can go and it can be an unusually cruel thing to do to someone. Worse, when the other person starts to be a jerk, so *you* can be the "bad guy" and break up with them... (and then they run and tell others that is how it went). Ugh. I've also been on the side where I knew I had to be an adult about it and break-up with someone. It was incredibly hard to do. I hated myself afterwards. It took time to really talk to others (and to myself really) to remind me that it was, indeed, the very right thing to do.

As far as the cardio comment, I think Fallon just ran with it and Henry didn't stop it. ;-) And yes, having integrity and having sex can be had both at the same time. I promise....

    5. You're right breaking up with someone can be brave but talking about it in an international newspaper isn't.

    6. I agree with Jen...I mean, it's hard to know what's going on with other people's relationships...and maybe only the two people involved really know, but to be honest and sensitive to feelings/truth of a situation is the brave, right thing. So...I like Henry's comments...and I thought his interview with Jimmy was playful, fun & sexy...kinda like MFU... (y) :D <3
      I. Love. Henry. <3 <3 <3

    7. And I disagree again. Any time Henry mentions another woman or is seen with woman you cut him downtown size and not pick on everything he says or does. That's your jealousy talking so get over it. You guys want him to open up more about who he is and what he thinks and this is what you do. He was just being honest and playful so now you want to hang him. Back off. Henry has integrity to spare and is amazing with his fans as well as his family plus charity's! Jeez cut it. He doesn't owe you anything when it comes to his private life.
      Done.

    8. I don't want to wade in on the debate but I would like to say that according to the RMCTF 2015 Impact Report the charity raised £200,000 more than last year. I believe that increase is due in no small part to Henry Cavill's involvement and the extra publicity his celebrity brings. £200,000 is an awful lot of money that can really make a difference to wounded ex-service men and their families.
Personally, I am very grateful to all the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect my country and the freedoms I enjoy.
As an ambassador of the RMCTF Henry Cavill gets my respect and my support in all his endeavours. So let's all support Henry and go and see The Man From Uncle this weekend.

    1. Yes, I was left wanting more. Isn't that always the case with Henry though...;-)

Oh man, not to sound superficial...but I think this is my favorite suit of Henry's by far. Fun interview, too short. More please! Looking forward to seeing the movie.

  10. The "cardio" comment was pretty immature and totally unnecessary...kind of came across as an insecure teenager desperate to "hint" (with a sledgehammer) that his prowess is all that. No one really needs to know that--let's be real here: it's not a smart PR move to suggest you're playing musical beds and are proud of it. Delete me if you want--yes, the guy does some good charitable things and is kind to fans, but this was an unforced error.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I also found the "cardio" comment out of--at least what I assumed--his good character. In all his other interviews he's classy and gentlemanly. Here...not so much. Disappointing. Maybe he was just trying to be funny, but it was a cheap joke and a little gross.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I didn't like it either. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, and you can tell that Jimmy Fallon was pretty surprised he said that (and that he thought it was obnoxious--Jimmy is a family man and a father). Henry evidently didn't understand Jimmy's comedic sensibilities either--I cringed when Henry reassured Jimmy "you're cool, too." I don't think Jimmy is losing any sleep at night wishing his biceps were bigger--he was just playing around for the interview. This interview was actually a bit embarrassing to watch--I was embarrassed for Henry, who didn't seem to get it. But on another note: I wonder if all of this raunchy talk is part of a calculated move to appear Bond-ish/non-Superman-boyscout-ish? I'd be very surprised if it wasn't a deliberate strategy.

  14. Oh dear... Just read an article on D-listed about how Henry is talking about sex waaay too much lately, and referring to women he picks up in bars to "shag" as "birds"--which is like the equivalent of calling a woman a "chick." It's a direct quote from an interview Henry did. Not classy or gentlemanly--what's up with that?

    ReplyDelete

    1. I am British and being referred to as a 'bird' is derogatory. I read the interview that you're referring to and the remarks came out of no where and were completely unnecessary. I was really surprised. The journalist who took the interview also wrote that she was surprised too.

      Delete
  15. Yeah, I don't get why he'd do that. At the very least, he should understand that he's better off being perceived as someone who doesn't objectify "birds" with their "spectacular breasts." But if that is the way he really thinks and talks about women on a regular basis, I guess it's bound to spill over in public...too bad, though--until now, I had been under the impression that he was gentlemanly. Hard to see someone who refers to women as "chicks/birds" in interviews as being all that evolved, though. :(
