Very interesting interview. I think it's the first time he expresses an interest for Bond. Very good news. He deserves so much this role. Yes Barbara or Mike call him, please.
ReplyDeleteI'm so freaking happy that he finally talk about the role. He deserves so much more. And I also love him more because he always opens up and tells the truth.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute interview. A much better showing than he put in during the lead-in to the movie with all of the immature, plodding raunchy talk.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. Much nicer.
DeleteIs Tinder a dating website? I didn't read or hear the raunchy interviews, thank God. This was a good interview. I'm surprised he's as open as he is about dating. When you think of it, it really isn't anyone's business. He must be really grounded because he gets a lot of attention and yet seems to handle it well.
ReplyDeleteWas there an accompanying photo with the interview or did they just use one from Interview?
ReplyDeleteHi! - This is the one they used. Not new but a great one. x
DeleteGreat interview...I didn't read anything too wild or obnoxious in any of his other interviews. I liked them. :D He's being a lil more open in some of these...and it's interesting to know where he"s at with some things. His personality is fun and creative...and he deals with being a superstar in a down to earth humble yet realistic way...understanding how it all works by being good/responsible with people and not letting anything go to his head. He just continuously shows to be a person of good character...along with being an entertaining actor. Thanks for sharing, MC & HCN (y) :) <3

I was referring to him calling women "birds," which is like calling them "chicks," and the tacky comments re: accidental boners from "spectacular breasts," and the cringeworthy "sex is my cardio" bit on Jimmy Fallon's show. Questionable taste displayed there, but this interview is a step in a better direction :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't like the implication either about sex being his cardio workout on the Jimmy Fallon show.
DeleteOh Henners, I just love you. And who are you meeting that thinks you're a dick? Maybe they are just as nervous as you are. I'm trying to imagine being your girlfriend and I'm nervous but excited just thinking of it. I think about not being able to travel with you and if that's acceptable, protocol for events, stuff like that.Enjoy your singledom. Don't settle. Love you Henners! Harmony

For crying out loud, give this guy a break! In one interview, he was asked point blank if he was ever turned on from doing a sex scene and he was honest with his reply to getting a boner one time. With the Jimmy Fallon segment, he tried a little sex humor because let's face it; Fallon only does cool things on his show with laid-back fun people. So it seems as if he is trying to come across as being more laid-back with a sense of humor because there are some people who would say that he's very vanilla (bland/boring) and a one-dimensional actor.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how Channing Tatum can give an interview stating that he has a name for his private part and some people, not me, love it and the studios gives his nonacting butt major movie roles. But poor Henry can call a woman a "bird" and mention sex as cardio, it's considered tacky. Give the poor guy a break.
It might just be cultural differences. What one person may may find 'tacky' another can find acceptable.

ReplyDeleteHenry is very down to earth and honest. A quality lacking in most men today. Almost everyone takes things he says out of context. Is it because they are jealous? Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteThis interview was delightful. I hope he finds someone who understands him and wants him for who he is not what he is. He deserves that.
I agree...and people do take things out of context at times and turn it into whatever they want it to be. Whatever...those of us who might understand the man better than others know he's a stand up guy who's as good as the come and more...with a good sense of humor to go with his sincerity and consideration. Love you, Henry...<3 <3 <3 :D

*typo...."good as they come"....not "the come"... Thank you.
DeleteYes. He is very considerate. It shows in the way he takes time with his adoring fans. People, humans, will always take what someone says and try and make it into something it's not. That's just their nature. There are those of us who are intelligent enough to dismiss the vile rhetoric. I read were he says he worries about his body image, that he better look like superman when he's with someone. Poor Henry, being judged for what he looks like, not the man he is. Really look at pictures of him, that look behind the eyes. They are the windows to the soul. I study human behavior, being a writer it's fascinating. All I can say is I am a fan of Henry and not just because he's a very good looking man. I could sit and listen to him talk all day. He is intelligent, funny, and sweet.
ReplyDeleteI agree...I'm more interested in a person's spirit, heart and soul...I thought he was perfect looking in Tudors, Laguna And Cold Light of Day...films where his character's physique was not paramount to the role. He's a kind hearted good person...creative, smart and interesting...that's the main thing...<3 <3 <3 Henry :)
