Henry was there with his girlfriend Tara King, and here's a first look at them on the red carpet (loving the dress!).
The show was held at Dunhill's beautiful Twin Villas, where Henry and Tara got to check out the designer's latest fashions.
iWeek shows a glimpse of them (at about 1:14). Watch the complete video on Dunhill's FB or the quick sighting below..
You may remember Henry attended the initial bash in London back in June, and then sported Dunhill throughout The Man from U.N.C.L.E. press tour.
UPDATE 11/19: More new pics added..

"The exclusive Alfred Dunhill show held in Shanghai as attended by creative director John Ray, chief executive Fabrizio Cardinali, and Superman himself, Henry Cavill — as told through Snapchats.
Superman, stop following me. I mean, I know you like my wool felt fedora — "Smart hat. Where is it from?" — but we've had our chat in the colonial Twin Villas (a grand three-storey mansion tucked into a stately Shanghai courtyard which played host to the Alfred Dunhill SS16 collection), and now, after sitting next to me at the fashion show, you've followed me to the same restaurant. And you're eating the same food. Do I need to whip out my kryptonite?*
As a friend of the house, the affable Mr Henry Cavill flew into Shanghai from London to patronise the presentation. But sporting a buzz cut, trimmed beard and, cutting a mean silhouette in a black suit, he wanders around largely unbothered by the regional media; all either too aloof, or too ignorant, to recognise that in their very midst, breathing from the same air space, is the Man of Steel himself. But such is the transformative power of fashion. Also, to be fair, he's not wearing his Clark Kent glasses."
That dress is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI adore her style! It's just the right amount of sexy but extremely classy too.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I love it. I loved her outfit at the car event they went to as well. And of course Henry is just.....sigh. I would guess he's starting the bulk up faze for JL too. He says clothing is an issue with the constant up & down.
DeleteAlmost word-for-word what I was gonna say... I know it is supposed to be about him, but... I just love her outfits- very smart, very classy. I hope they're having a great time! (And man, I am seriously missing some good Chinese food here lol.)
DeleteLovely couple:) Henry dashing as usual....sigh steals my heart<3
ReplyDeleteWhen does he begin filming? Tic TOC waiting for Henry in military gear.....
River
River
She is a very pretty girl.
ReplyDeleteAwww...how pretty!
ReplyDeleteI wish them luck, at least "a la Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley" ... :) <3
ReplyDeleteAnd so I can´t help but asking when the Cavill for Lancelot campaing might start, humm. No pressure or something, but that would be a dream :)
Henry playing Lancelot would be awesome! - We've had our fingers crossed for a while now... http://www.henrycavillnews.com/2014/08/variety-henry-cavill-could-have-been.html
DeleteAnymore word on Henry being cast in the movie The Virginian about George Washington?
ReplyDeleteThe film was in the very early stages of development when his name was mentioned. There's been no news on the project since then, but we're keeping an eye on it. Keep you guys posted.
DeleteI think the problem with dating someone who is 19 is that the long-term potential is risky at best, even in cases where the two people are lovely people. Most people do so much growing and changing in their 20s, and come out of that very formative decade viewing the world differently than they did when they were 19 or 20 (provided they are learning and growing and reaching to discover new things, of course!). And that isn't even factoring in the changes that come when people experience life's curveballs--this is just baseline growing and changing we're talking about
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying this to try to criticize them, but I'm just making the observation that so much can change in the way you see people and life as you fully grow into adulthood. This isn't to say people can't grow together--lots of people marry young and "grow up" together afterwards. But when one person has already (presumably) gone through that massive growth era that is the 20s and one hasn't, there's a big disparity in terms of worldview and life experience that is a very real challenge in that sort of relationship. This is probably way too philosophical for this site, but it's just what came to mind when I saw that pic of them together, so I thought I'd throw it out there.
Peace and goodwill :)
This isn't about changing or life experience. It's Dunhill! Two people are in love, let them be. Please stop going against their relationship and accept the fact that they're together, they may even last. You just don't know. Let's just agree that they're a lovely couple and they deserve happiness. No more negativity ♡ + pictures can be deceiving. Some pictures I take with friends come out like I'm having the worst time ever, although I'm not, I'm just not ready nor picture perfect.. and I don't like my smile so I keep a straight face during pics.
DeleteI understand what you are saying.

ReplyDeleteI hate to say this but most of these big events the show business people have to go to look very boring!! I'm not sure at 19 I would want to have to sit through that kind of stuff!
ReplyDeleteI know when I was 19 if I was on the receiving end of Henry Cavill wanting me to tag along with him, I'd be all about it! (I'm 32 btw, that makes me sound like 'back in my day we hiked 5 miles in the snow to school.' lol) She has good fashion sense so I'm sure she's liking it. Plus it's got to be interesting just observing things in another country too.
DeleteHenry was compensated for his attendace, so although boring to some, he felt strongly enough about the Mini Cooper event to invest his time there. And I would follow him anywhere lol!
DeleteWow, those new pics. They make a stunning couple. Henry looks very proud. Don't over analyze things, just enjoy Henry looking happy because he certainly does.
ReplyDeleteI wish he would post a selfie from the event!
