After months of speculation, today Henry posted this close-up of his Justice League costume.. and it seems to confirm he'll be back in black!

The internet reacted accordingly..

    As much as I like the black one, I do hope he continues to wear blue/red/yellow suit.

    That long hair on twitter does not suit him! LOL but he's still awesome and I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Black Superman is evil, right?

    So excited! I think the suit, the long hair and beard are coming. Don't think he'll come back evil I think it would be a bit silly since he gave his life to save the planet. I am excited to see how long his hair will be since it's not that long atm. Either way exciting times ahead. :O

    In the comicbook "The Death of Superman", Supes comes back in the black suit. He's not evil. If you recall, the other Kryptonians in MOS wore black suits and Kal-El appeared in a black suit while talking to Zod in the "dream" sequence.

    While I enjoy the tease, waiting for this movie for another year is torture.

    It's the solar suit. Gives Supes energy to ressurect. Can't wait to see it and fingers crossed for long haired Henry, lets stay true to the comics.

    So excited to see supes back on our screens in the black suit. Part of me would loveeeeeeeeeeee to see him use other powers like run super fast and use freeze breath. Part of me would like to see Kal fly more gracefully instead of flying of super speed sonic boom. It would be awesome to see Clark learn more about his powers. Would be cool to see the fortress, have Bruce or maybe Diana teach Clark combat techniques. Either way super hyped cant wait for 2017

    Of course he's going to wear the black suit. Henry and Zack always default to the source material even if they must shake things up slightly. MOS and BVS made that clear. Can't wait!

    Consider: Is this really a shot of the "black" suit, or is it simply the regular (coloured) suit shot in black and white through his Huawei smartphone in monochrome mode? Something to think about - since the internet tends to overreact to a lot of things. :)

      That's an official pic released by the studio. It's the black suit :)

      Just curious: how can you tell it's a pic released by the studio?

      Obviously, the black suit is a possibility given the storyline from the comics, but it seems like the news I find about it credit the teaser image as being from Henry. Even the Official JL instagram (@justiceleague) regrammed Henry's post (as opposed to posting their own).

      I'm stoked either way, but the lack of any colours in the background made me wonder if perhaps it was just a monochrome image...which lead me to my suggestion.

      First off, it's so obvious there's no filter. I'd know cos I filter a lot.
      Second, it's been confirmed there's a black suit coming.

      Thanks - all I've seen has been speculation; didn't see that it had been confirmed anywhere. November 2017 can't come soon enough.

    All I know is he is fine as hell the best looking and best bodied Superman thus far I've been A Superman fan since I first saw him the best thing about Superman is he born into it and not made by a freakish accident lol
