'The Witcher' Showrunner Answers Fan Questions, Shares Pics
The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich has been posting some cool BTS pics from the sets of the show over on Reddit. She titled these ones "Roach not included."
Hissrich has also been answering questions from fans, you can read the wrap at this link.
Here are some of the ones that are Geralt related:
"Hey Lauren, I know this question has nothing to do with the pictures above, but in the trailer when saw Geralt's sword-fighting I keep thinking to myself "we've never seen this kind of sword work before" I mean we've seen similar stuff, but this almost looks like the sort of thing we've seen in super hero shows where the criminals are completely helpless and the hero while vulnerable at times and blooded often, seems unstoppable until they finally come across someone who can beat them up. Does my perception of what I saw have anything in common with what to expect from the show?"
Lauren: "Geralt is very very good at what he does. Better than most, so there are people/monsters he dispatches with quickly and efficiently. But not always. He will meet plenty of matches."
"Did just one horse play Roach the whole season, or was there like a stunt horse and a regular horse? How do you even cast a horse lol"
Lauren: "The same horse played Roach all season, with the exception of a few travel days where "she" was quarantined. The casting process was based on many things, but mostly the bond and trust between horse and master: in this case, Roach and Geralt."
As we get closer to The Witcher's December 20th release date, articles about the show have begun popping up around the world. @caraliscity sent us these pics of the November issue of Italian magazine, Best Movie. She also included the special cover for the Lucca Comics & Games preview.
Meanwhile, @barni14 shared this article from Polish magazine Netfilm.
A huge thanks to both of them. If you spot The Witcher articles or promo and you want to share them, feel free to email us at henrycavillnews@gmail.com.
