A slow start to August but things are about to get a lot more exciting with The Witcher resuming production in England. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich teased she was back at work last week and now director Stephen Surjik confirms it. He shared these photos today.
First day back after mid spring lock down on Witcher S2. Learning to social distance with my show runner /Exec producer, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. She can conjure narrative and character with a muscular control like the great Houdini. @LHissrich pic.twitter.com/HVHpuDPSd1— Stephen D Surjik (@SSurjik) August 5, 2020
Director Sarah O'Gorman was also back at work and she talked about Season 2 in a new interview.

Stay tuned for updates!
Can't wait for the Witcher again, this show has made me a big fan of Henry Cavill and he has made me a big fan of Geralt of Rivia.
ReplyDeleteFinally it's starting! It's been 84 years! Good luck to the cast and crew, I hope everyone is safe and we won't have any more delays. And let's hope to a great second season and more Geralt. I miss him and Henry!
ReplyDeleteI love when actors really love their characters and know the source material. That was the case with Henry Cavill and he nailed Geralt. So it's nice to see that Paul Bullion knows his stuff and loves his character as well, same with Jeremy Crawford and many others. The positive of the lock down was that it gave them the chance to do some more reading (if they weren't fan already) and all that knowledge and energy will come out in season 2 and it will befefit the show.I can't wait for Kaer Morhen scenes and Geralt meeting his "family". Safe shooting to everyone and great work to this site for keeping us informed. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGood luck
ReplyDeleteCan't wait UBH
ReplyDeleteYay, I miss Geralt and I miss Henry. Good luck to our boy and the crew.
ReplyDeleteThe reason why I subscribed to Netflix, been a fan of Henry since Man of Steel and so happy when he visited Manila for the The Witcher tour, It was a long wait but it was all worth it. I hope that he visits Manila again soon.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait. I've always loved Henry but as Geralt he stole my heart 💖
ReplyDeleteI never expected to love The Witcher as much because it's usually not my kind of show but I did. Big part of that played the characters and particular Henry's portrayal of Geralt. I want to hung him and protect him at all cost. He's a beautiful character and I can't wait to see more of him.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the Kaer Morhen scenes and Gerakt to meet with his brother witchers and his father Vesemir. I have the feeling their chemistry will be fantastic. Henry Cavill has done a brilliant job as the Witcher.
