Henry will reprise his role as Sherlock in the Enola Holmes sequel.

These are fantastic news 👏 I loved Henry in the first film and his dynamic with Millie and Sam and I can't wait to see more of them. Also it is a different role than his usuals protagonists roles and the fact that the movie doesn't focus on Sherlock gives him the opportunity to do different things as an actor which showcase his talent. I'm excited! 💖

ReplyDeleteI loved this film and all the characters, especially the Holmes siblings . I can't wait to see Henry in the sequel. Hopefully Sherlock's relationship with his sister will be explored more and continue to grow. The scene in the end where they missed each other was heartbreaking but it opens a lot of possibilities for the sequel. Great news!!! Go Henry 👏

I could certainly relate to more of your roles taken in these genres, should you ever consider (I guess I’m not the only one)😉! Says someone who watched Tudors just a dozen times!

So happy with these news. Henry is booked and busy as he should! I can't wait to see how the story will expand from the first film and I can't wait to see Henry in an even bigger role as the mentor/ rival of Enola. One of the aspects I loved in the first film is how proud Sherlock was for his sister. They managed to make Enola shine without making Sherlock any less of a genious. He was getting in the solution with some delay from Enola but with less information. I can't wait to see what they have in store for EH2 and (why not?)3. I know it's not in the books but I'd love an appearance from Irene Adler or another love interest of Sherlock if they don't have the rights for Adler's character(and I can't be the only one who wants Anya Chalotra to play her! She and Cavill have an unmatched on screen chemistry).
